Terms of service

1. Agreement and eligibility

These terms govern your use of Tempkey, operated by VectraSEO LLC. By creating a workspace or connecting an integration, you agree to them on behalf of yourself and, if applicable, the organization you represent. Tempkey is intended for business use, not personal or consumer use, and you must be at least 18 years old to agree to these terms.

2. The service

Tempkey lets a workspace owner connect their own admin credentials for supported third-party tools, grant contractors and vendors time-boxed access, receive expiry reminders, and have Tempkey execute and verify revocation at the grant’s end. Not every capability is available for every provider — some integrations are exposed as limited-native with explicit scope limits, and Zapier/Make bridge connections are best-effort webhook integrations, not guaranteed real-time revocation.

3. Accounts and authentication

Tempkey uses passwordless sign-in (email magic links and WebAuthn/passkeys). You’re responsible for all activity under your account and workspace, for the security of the inbox and devices used to sign in, and for promptly notifying us of any suspected unauthorized access.

4. Your responsibilities

• Only connect provider credentials you’re authorized to use, with the minimum scopes required, and comply with each provider’s own terms of service.
• Ensure the accuracy of the contractor and grant information you enter.
• Restrict who on your team can connect admin-level credentials.
• Independently confirm that access-sensitive to your business has actually been removed when it matters most, notwithstanding Tempkey’s revocation-verification feature (Section 6).

5. Plans and billing

Paid plans are billed monthly in advance and described on the Pricing page, metered by active contractor grants rather than total headcount. Each monthly subscription renews automatically for another month until you cancel. Plans are month to month with no long-term commitment; you can downgrade or cancel at any time from the billing portal in workspace settings, and the change takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle. Fees already paid for the current cycle are non-refundable except where required by law.

6. No guarantee of third-party revocation

Tempkey’s revocation and verification features depend on the continued availability, correctness, and API behavior of third-party providers we don’t control. We do not guarantee access will be revoked or verified within any specific time or in any specific case, including where a provider’s API is unavailable, changed, or returns inaccurate status. Failed or unenforceable revocations are surfaced in your audit log, but you remain responsible for confirming critical access removal independently when the consequences of delay are significant.

7. Acceptable use

You won’t use Tempkey to violate law or a third party’s rights, attempt unauthorized access to the service or other workspaces’ data, reverse-engineer the service to build a competing product, or use connected credentials for anything outside legitimate access management.

8. Intellectual property and your data

Tempkey and its licensors own the service, excluding your data. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive license to use the service during your subscription, for your internal business purposes. You retain ownership of the data you submit; we process it only to provide the service, as described in our Privacy Policy.

9. Confidentiality

Each party will protect the other’s confidential information with reasonable care and use it only to perform under these terms, except as required by law.

10. Disclaimers

The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, except as expressly stated in these terms.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, VectraSEO LLC won’t be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or lost profits or data, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim won’t exceed the amount you paid Tempkey in the twelve months preceding the claim.

12. Indemnification

You’ll indemnify and hold Tempkey harmless from claims arising from your misuse of the service, violation of these terms, or violation of a third-party provider’s terms through your use of connected credentials.

13. Term and termination

These terms remain in effect while you have a Tempkey account. You may close your workspace at any time; we may suspend or terminate access for material breach not cured within a reasonable notice period, including unauthorized use of connected provider credentials.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. You and VectraSEO LLC agree to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the state and federal courts located in Pennsylvania for any dispute arising out of or relating to these terms or the service.

15. General

These terms, together with any order form and our Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and Tempkey. If any provision is unenforceable, the rest remain in effect. Neither party may assign these terms without the other’s consent, except in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of substantially all assets.
